Hey guys; Sean again. I have another random story to go along with his post. So I just got the LG VX8550 and I wanted to find some info on what it could do. I was looking at some random sites about it and I found out that it had a lot of problems. I troubleshooted my phone and I figured out that my phone had these problems too! I took it to Verizon and I got it replaced with a new one (which is pretty cool). SO anyway……. here is the assignment: We had to find a really good blog and then comment it, any topic we want! Fun right? Right. SO going back to my story about the phone… I wanted to find out what it could do. SO, I found a really good site about cell phones. It has EVERYTHING or errthang if I want to be gangsterrr. They wee the first people to announce the iPhone! Without further adeu here is the site: howardchui.com
The blog that I commented is right: here. It is the pre-release announcement for my phone that shows all the features and cool stuff that it does. Here is the comment that I left: This blog is incredibly amazing! These reviews and pre-release blogs have helped me out in choosing a cell phone! It must take a lot of time and money to produce all of these reviews. You have a lot of heart. Good luck in the future! I love the pricing information with the ballpark estimates! The features column with the bullets is my favorite!

It took an extremely long time to find a good cell phone/electronics blog. There was an overwhelming amount of them but most were raw and unprofessional. One of my favorite parts of the site I found are it’s reviews. There is a section where it has the pros and cons of the phone. Here it is:
Pros:
- A2DP Bluetooth support
- Large display
- Lots of built-in memory
- Great for superficial people
Cons:
- Back button is inconveniently placed
- No background music player
- The phone is just plain un-attractive
I like that because he is brutally honest about the phone and what its strengths and weaknesses really are.
Okay guys, I’m done for now! Check back soon for more posts! bye!

I Would Like To Send A Message to The World…
People…. we need a wakeup call. We are sickly dependant on oil, and it is tearing apart our world. GLOBAL WARMING…we all know about it, we’ve all heard about it, but are we doing anything about it? I think not. Well here is an idea, a simple thing that will not interfere with your lives at all. In fact, they will probably improve them. BUY A HYBRID CAR, or at least lease one. Do you realize how much money you will save, they get 55 MPG or more! Also, don;t say there ugly, because there are hybrid’s by Ford, Lexus, BMW, Toyota, Saturn, Honda, Volkswagon, Audi, Subaru, Hyundai, and Cadillac. As you can see, there is a HUGE selection of cars to choose from, and some start at $12,350! So please, people, I beg of you, buy a hybrid car, and save the world!
Okay, so last year on vacation in Hawaii, I woke up at about 6 AM to go surfing. I was in the water catching some (AMAZING) waves when my dad called from the beach of our house that I had to get out, I asked why, but I didn’t hear his answer over the roar of the waves. Just then I saw this electric blue jellyfish looking thing in the water. I was freked, I had NO idea what it was. Turns out that it was the reason I had to get out of the water, my dad had spotted it from the shore. He told me that it was a man-o’-war. I had no idea what that was but he said that it had a sting 20x worse than a jellyfish. Later that night my friend Tucker got stung by oine and his leg turned bright purple for two days. That was the only time that I ever saw him cry. I’ve been curious about this creature ever since. Here is what I learned: The real name of this creatur is the Poruguese Man O’ War. It is also known as the bluebubble or bluebottle. It is not a jellyfish but a colony of small, poisonous sea creatures, or a Siphonophora. The Portuguese Man O’ War has an air bladder, known as the pneumatophore or sail, that looks like a bubble, that allows it to float on the surface of the ocean. It has no way of moving and is pushed by the winds and the current. Below the main body dangle long tentacles, sometimes reaching 30 feet long! In length below the surface, three feet is the average. They sting and kill small sea creatures such as small fish and shrimp using venom-filled tentacles, like a jellyfish but like a million times more dangerous. The sting from the tentacles is dangerous to people, the stings have been responsible for several deaths, but usually only cause excruciating (a ton) of pain. In extreme cases medical attention is necessary. They are found in tropical waters around Australia, Florida, The Bahamas, And the US West Coast.
I started out nor really agreeing with this assignement. I thought it would be very time consuming. I was right but it was fun. I wanted to find a good podcast about tennis. After digging deep into itunes and listening to abour 13 podcasts, I finally found one i likedIt’s by Christine Kansky, a two time nationals winner and number one in the country for tennis age 16 and under. Every week she gives a new tennis tip. Here is what I emailed to her: I absolutely LOVE your podcasts, you helped me SO much with serving and throwing for the serve. Keep up the great work! I hope to hear a new podcast soon! –Sean
What I learned from her latest podcast: When going for the serve use your fingers on the ball, not your palm, for better control on the throw, when serving, put an arc on the upswing and don’t kick to far back or else your aim will be thrown off. Here is where i found her podcast: (i tried to do a print screen but edublogs wont let me upload it
) so iif anyone wants to know ehere I found it just ask me and i will show you at school. Thanks ![]()
If I was not afraid I……wouldn’t be typing this right now. I wouldn’t be going to Moran. I probably would live somewhere else because I would’ve been okay with moving. If I hadn’t moved I would probably have different friends. I would probably play sports. i wouldn’t be so stressed out becuase I wouldn’t be afraid of failing. I would be more honest. I wouldn’t be afraid to go in the woods at night. i would probably have broken some bones at least a few times in my life. I would still be friends with L. I would be in the STEP program and in drama becuase i wouldnt care what people thought of me. I would wear the clothes I wanted. I would probably look different. I would sit at a different lunch table. But I am afraid…so those things will never happen.
Should students involved in extracurricular activities be tested for drugs?
Yes, indeed they should. I feel that if for example football means alot to the student then he or she will stay drug free to keep playing the sport. On the other hand, most students that are on drugs usually do not participate in extra currics anyway. But i believe that drug testing will be affective as it will intimidate most kids because they will see that the adults are stepping up against drug use.
Parents today are so busy that they forget about their babies hahahahaha
